Conversation Had

"Show, don't tell," certainly worked for me this evening. The difficult conversation that two of my characters needed to have (or rather, the conversation that the story needed the characters to have) has now been written. Partway through this difficult exchange, the couple's daughter interrupted and demonstrated the situation practically, thus dispelling her mother's disbelief and allowing her confusion to turn into bitter anger at her husband.

Excellent progress!

Also I had set a personal target of 10,000 total words before stopping for the day and I'm currently at 10,733.

That'll do.
